Founded in 1980, The Rainbow Project, Inc. offers specialized treatment & related services for young children, through ten years-of-age, & their families struggling with the following...

	Stress
	May be at risk due to the effects of domestic violence, child abuse & neglect
	Social-developmental & behavioral problems
	Parent/child & family relationship issues

Services offered include one OR more of the following...

Comprehensive diagnostic assessment & developmental evaluation, with emphasis on social-emotional development & behavior, for young children & adults

Assessment of parent-child interaction & family relationships

Referral services to other specialized community services for family members

Child play therapy

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

Adult treatment & counseling with individuals, couples, family, OR groups

Parent education in individual, parent-child play sessions, OR group settings

In-home treatment

Interagency coordination, case management, & advocacy

Consultation services with teachers, foster parents, nurses, & others involved with the family

Individualized service planning

Evaluation & follow-up services

Community education/training

Short & long-term services are offered, ranging in length from 3-months to 2 1/2+ years. Rainbow Project staff have experience working with a variety of culturally & economically diverse populations. No one is denied services due to their inability to pay.
